This is an alternative choice to having a Funeral service.
A ‘direct cremation’ definition is simply, transfer of the deceased into the care of your funeral director, with no other family involvement or ceremony. Faithfull Funeral Services will obtain and secure of all medical documentation and transfer directly to the crematorium, and the return of the ashes.
The direct cremation includes the following;
Transfer of your loved one into the care of Te Awahou Funeral Services from place of death
A basic casket
Securing of the Medical Documents
Registering the death with the Department of Internal Affairs
Obtaining a death certificate
Transfer of deceased to the crematorium
Return of the ashes
Viewing, dressing or any other service will incur extra professional service fees.
