Jayden Moore

Funeral Director (Foxton)

 Jayden maintains strong connections within the local community through involvement in various organisations, Jayden was the Chair of the Foxton Tram Society.

Jayden values the character of the Te Awahou/Foxton community, recognising its strong sense of unity, hospitality, and commitment to manaakitanga. Since the establishment of Te Awahou Funeral Services in 2017, he has overseen the development of a modern, adaptable service model that offers families a range of options beyond the traditional funeral approach.

He acknowledges that the continued growth and professionalism of the organisation is supported by the dedication and commitment of the entire team.

Marina Bates

Funeral Director (Foxton)

Marina Bates lives in Foxton Beach with her partner, Dave, and their blended family of seven children and three mokopuna. She began her funeral career in 2020, completing her training as a funeral director and embalmer in Palmerston North.

Marina brings a structured and respectful approach to her role, ensuring each person in her care is prepared to a high standard and that families receive clear, practical guidance. She values the collaborative environment at Te Awahou Funeral Services and the strong relationships the team maintains with the local community.

Andrae Peipi

Funeral Director (Otaki) KR JP Dip fs cert emb

Entered the funeral profession in 1994 and has developed extensive knowledge across all areas of the industry. He fulfilled a long‑held ambition when he became a fully qualified Funeral Director and Embalmer and serving as a Justice of the Peace.
Having worked in a range of communities throughout New Zealand, Andrae has supported families from many cultural backgrounds. He recognises that each culture approaches grief and funeral rituals differently, and this understanding helps him guide families with respect and sensitivity. Andrae will be mainly based in our family consultation office in Otaki
Andrae values the trust families place in him, often reflected in their feedback and continued connection.
