    THOMAS, ROY VICTOR. Born in England on the 31st August 1930. Died on the 11th of December 2017 after a long illness. Beloved husband, stepdad, granddad, great granddad and great great granddad.     On the 6th October 2020, after a long and courageous battle, our pāpā TREVOR DARYL PILKINGTON of 71 Grey Street SHANNON has passed away suddenly at Palmerston North Hospital. Aged 63 Years. A hard worker, farmer, shearer, mentor to many, musician, manager and a natural born comedian.

    Loved and cherished husband of 36 years to Nina Aniwaniwa PILKINGTON (nee Ketu).
    Beloved brother and brother-in-law to Claude & Liz KETU, Diana MANIHERA, Larry MANIHERA, Ellen VAN NISTELROOY, Pieter Van Nistelrooy, Robert & Ellen KETU, Mae & David HOUSTON, Moses KETU (deceased), Lani KETU & Hohepa TAIAROA .

    Son of the late Leslie Walter PILKINGTON and Alison GOBBE( (nee Hebbend), both deceased. Brother to Malcomb, Eldon and Floyd and Tony

    Amazing hands on father and father-in-law to Matthew & Kuini, Hannah-Mae & Raniera, Abraham & Jess, Sarai & Isaac, Te Ataahua & Boweyn, Laurence (deceased) & Abby.
    Adored Lolo to his 12 mokopuna Manaia, Rangimarie, Kahliyah, Kaelee, Psalm, Hunter, Waiariki, Nadia-Hanna, Te Ahorangi, Maioha, Tailor & Aamyla-Cree. Whangai Lolo to Jayde, Mason, Kayne & Maia.

    Treasured Uncle & "Doi" to all his nieces and nephews. Highly respected by the ‘Music Whanau’ and the Wheelhouse Karaoke Club.

    Trevor is currently laying in state at his whānau homestead 71 Grey Street SHANNON and will be there until Thursday the 8th of October. We will then proceed to Whakawehi Marae, Poutu Pa for poroporoaki.

    His final farewell celebration and service to be held on Saturday the 10th of October at 11am. Then we will proceed to Kelvin Grove Crematorium as per his final wishes. This process is open to everyone and we ask all friends and family to attend.

    Our PILKINGTON/KETU Whanau then ask that everyone returns to Whakawehi, Poutu pa for a Hakari whakanoa.

    E te totara nui i te wao nui a Tane, takoto mai ra i te kainga tuturu ki te taha ā o mātua me pāpā Claude Ketu.
    We are calling on the music whanau to bring their talents over the next few days to the marae to share their talents in honour of Trevor’s life as a musician. The odd joke or two you have heard from Trevor over the years would also be awesome.
